Dangers To Wildlife

There are many dangers out there for wild animals such as plastic bottles, plastic 6-pack holders, fishing nets, fishing line and so many more! You can see in the pictures below how these and other hazards can harm our beautiful wild animals.

Please help to keep these items off the streets and out of the woods. All of the wildlife population will thank you because their lives depend on it.

"Peanut" was stuck in a plastic 6 pack holder for at least 4 years, before rescued. He is alive and well, but will have to be cared for because of the damage to his organs.

This bird was lucky, as licensed bird bander Andrew Kinslow, skilled at removing birds from nets, painstakingly freed the robin, which flew to safety with a possibly broken leg dangling. Ironically, the monofilament line recycling bin had been removed.
